Founded in 1996, Alternative Investment Group is an independent investment management firm headquartered in Southport, Connecticut . Our mission is to identify the best alternative investment managers and construct actively managed, diversified investment portfolios.
Our firm is entirely owned and managed by its partners, who have a strong track record in alternative asset investing, including manager selection, due diligence and monitoring, portfolio construction, risk management, and operations. We manage or sub-advise assets of $1.9 billion and have a prominent and loyal investor base consisting of endowments, foundations, entrepreneurs, and professional investors from the venture capital and private equity communities.
